Most clients see the best results after 3 to 6 microchanneling sessions. However, the exact number of treatments you'll need depends on your skin's condition and your goals. Typically, collagen induction therapy can be done every 4 to 6 weeks as needed. Once you've achieved your desired results, we recommend touch-up sessions twice a year to maintain your gorgeous complexion.

Generally, microchanneling is safe for all skin types and tones. The micro-injuries created are very minor, resulting in little to no side effects. This treatment can be used on most areas of the body, including the face, neck, arms, chest, thighs, and calves. However, it's not recommended if you've recently taken Accutane, have an active skin infection, open wound, or are undergoing radiation therapy.

Most clients experience minimal discomfort during microchanneling and often don't need numbing cream. We employ various techniques to ensure your comfort during the procedure, and there's no lingering pain afterward. Post-treatment, you might feel a slight "tightness" in your skin, but this is temporary.

It's normal to experience some skin irritation, especially if you have sensitive skin. Wait at least 90 minutes before applying any products to your skin post-treatment. During this time, your skin might be pink or light red. After 90 minutes, you can use a gentle moisturizer, but avoid strong topicals until your skin returns to normal.

While new collagen production can take several weeks, many clients notice an improvement in their skin's quality and appearance within the first 24 hours. After 2 to 3 treatments, you'll see more consistent and noticeable improvements. For issues like scarring, laxity, and wrinkles, 6 or more treatments may be recommended.

Home devices are convenient and less expensive upfront but often have less powerful needles, resulting in less dramatic results and a higher risk of improper use. Professional treatments are administered by trained specialists using more powerful devices, leading to more significant and longer-lasting results. These treatments are customized to your specific skin needs and performed in a sterile environment, reducing the risk of complications.

Microchanneling uses a vertical stamping motion that creates cleaner channels without dragging. Traditional microneedling drags rollers across skin, causing more surface trauma and longer downtime. Yes. Microchanneling is one of the most effective treatments for rolling and boxcar acne scars. It stimulates new collagen that fills in scar depressions from within. Most patients see visible improvement after 4–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. No makeup for 24 hours after treatment. Micro-channels are still open during this window — makeup can introduce bacteria and cause infection or pigment issues. After 24 hours, you can resume mineral-based makeup. Avoid heavy liquid foundations for 48–72 hours.
